Today, there are many areas of life where men are in bondage, such as pornography, infidelity, alcoholism, or drug abuse. In addition, some struggle with internal battles of insecurity, depression, and fear of failure.

 

Here at LVBC, we have a passion to teach and encourage from the Scriptures, men - no matter their backgrounds or struggles, to find healing and overcoming victory in our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Every other month, our group of men gather on a Saturday night at 6pm over a hearty meal, and have a time of sharing happenings of life, family, work, etc. Then, they spend a time of sharing prayer requests, and praises of what God has done for them.

 

Most importantly, the men gather around the Word of God to be challenged to grow in their walk with Jesus. They discuss the passages and consider what God calls them to be. They encourage each other in what was discussed and pray for each other for victory.

 

We invite men to join us for “Man Up” for these times of food, encouragement, and challenge to follow the Perfect Man – Jesus Christ!
