Danniel is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Queens. At age 7, Danniel put his faith in Jesus to save him from sin after hearing of Jesus' death on the cross and free offer of eternal life. 
     After high school, Danniel attended Bible college, graduating in 2013. He then did an internship in Iowa before he went to graduate school, where he met his future wife, Abigail. Abigail grew up in a ministry home in Auckland, New Zealand, a city as diverse as New York.

      Danniel and Abigail were married in 2019, and moved to Brooklyn, where Danniel served as an assistant pastor. In 2023, the Lord directed the Acostas to LVBC, where they immediately felt at home.
     Danniel is an avid New York Mets fan, enjoys reading and woodworking, and loves spending quality time with his wife and two sons.
